Chapter 9 - Chapter 8

🌷🌷🌷

Olivia's POV

I can't believe I just had my first kiss. And it was AMAZIIIING! It was perfect. I felt like I was on cloud nine. But my mood was instantly soured as soon as we entered the cafeteria. Rosalie was holding my hand but I tried to hide behind her as much as I could.

Rosalie turns her head towards me to see what I'm doing and catches on. She then turns her body towards me and puts her arm around my shoulder. "How about we just get your food and sit outside huh?" She says to me with a gentle voice.

I nod at her and we move towards the counter where the food is. I grab my usual, which is obviously a chocolate milk and a ham and cheese sandwich then move to the lunch lady at the end of the counter to pay for it.

I reach into my pocket for my change and when I finally get the amount I want, I look up to see Rosalie swipe her card.

She got me a phone and has now payed for my food. She's gonna put me in so much debt. How am I gonna pay her back now?

Afterwards I led Rosalie to my spot under the bleaches. "So this is where you were when I couldn't find you yesterday." Rosalie says with realisation as her and I sit down on the grass.

"You we're looking for me?" I squeaked out with a shade of pink covering my cheeks. "Why?"

"I was worried about you and wanted to see if you were okay." She answers with concern.

"I was alright." I said to ease her concern. "As always." I smile at her to convince her I was telling the truth ,but she still continues to looks at me like she doesn't believe me.

After a few minutes of silence, it's finally broken.

"So tell me about yourself?" Rosalie asks with a smile.

My eyes go wide like saucers. I'm actually shocked. She wants to get to know me? No one wants to get to know me.

"Um, I don't know what to say?" I answer softly. She can't know about my father, about what he does to me.

"Well what's your favourite colour?" She suggests.

"Ermm.....Pink!" I shout. I have always loved that color. I don't know why, I just do. Maybe because it's such a happy positive color. I don't know. "What's yours?"

"Red." She answers. Wow even I could've guessed that. It's not surprising. She seems like her favourite color would be red.

"What's your...favourite flower?" I ask genuinely curious.

"Red roses." Rosalie answers before she takes a bite out of her apple. Hey! Where did she get the apple? Must have stole it from the cafeteria. I don't like people who steal. What? It's horrible.

"What's yours cutie?" She asks me with a seductive voice, that has me swallowing loudly, with pink coating my cheeks.

"Pink tulips." I softly squeak out. "But roses are my second favourite!"

Rosalie smirks at my answer and shakes her head in amusement. "What?" I ask with irritation.

"Nothing." She laughs.

After that we continue getting to know each other. Asking each others favourites and such. Soon enough school is over and I'm heading towards the house of death. My supposed home.

When I walk through the front door I see my father on the couch, sleeping. So I tiptoe to the stairs, to not wake him up and get a beating of a lifetime. When I reach the stairs, I walk up as slowly as I can without making a sound.

Once I get to my room. I close my door and lock it. I sit my backpack beside my door and flop down onto the sheets of my bed.

I look up to the ceiling of my room and I begin to daydream about the life I've always wanted.

Sometimes I'll even daydream about fantasy stuff. Like fairies, unicorns, elves. Maybe even vampires and werewolves.

My mind is so creative. Maybe one day I'll write a fantasy novel. Who knows. Well hoping that maybe I'll still be alive to even write one.
