When Eren reached the center of the village an hour later, he decided to gather Emily and the other elves and hold a small meeting. When everyone in the village with a certain job had gathered in the square, he got on a small chair and cleared his throat.
"Ehem, hey. I'm Eren and I've been living in this village for the last three and a half months. I came from a different universe and am now Level 29."
He wanted the villagers to know that he was no longer weak, but a useful person who could fight in the jungle.
"I spoke to an Ent today who said she was representative of forest creatures. I also met with two children cubs who were expelled from the wolf pack, our worst enemies in the jungle."
With these words, all the elves were suddenly attentive. The last time they communicated with such creatures in the village was years ago.
It was before Emily's mother died, even before her long journey to the human city. In the years before Emily was born, the elves were friends with the creatures of the forest.
"I am told that the human kingdoms closest to this forest are trying to unite and form a single empire. Therefore, they are trying to include both their own lands and the surrounding wild lands in the country they will establish.
They want to seize all the land within hundreds of kilometers of the forest in the south of the village. They want to hunt, kill or enslave all intelligent creatures. The elves in this village are included in their evil plans."
After these words, he expected the elves to look at him accusingly as well. After all, he was a human too. But he realized that all the elves in this village saw him as one of their own.
"The Ents want to team up with some of the few forest leaders to hunt down both humans and wolves that help humans. They want us to join this war as well."
Eren shook his head when great enthusiasm and happiness appeared in the eyes of the villagers. It was often nice for the elves to be this naive, but at crucial moments it looked very dangerous.
If the creatures of the forest were sure that they would win, they would not want this weak village to join the battle. Moreover, the people in this village were so weak and warless elves that they were only cannon fodder in battle.
Even the forest creatures looked very clever and cunning compared to those in this village.
"But when I asked my friends who were expelled from the wolf pack about this, I learned a bad thing. There are at least a thousand wolves with Evon Level below 20.
There are at least 100 wolves whose Evon level is above Level 20, that is, Evolution Level 1.
There are at least two wolves who exceed Level 50 and are Evolution Level 2. Among humans, a wizard named Alexen is definitely above Level 50. So three people above Evolution Level 2 can be our enemies.
So many people are guaranteed to die if we get involved in the war in this jungle!
Eren kept talking for about ten minutes that evening, saying things they could potentially do. He made sure that more than a hundred elves in this square understood all the options.
Then he would wait a day or two for the village to ponder and make up their minds.
..
Later in the evening, he kissed and drank some wine with Emily and Mel in different places and returned to Earth.
Tomorrow was Friday. And he had a meeting for an important business deal. He had to work at night on Earth and go over the details for the last time.
When he returned to Earth, he took a bottle of cold soda from the refrigerator and took a giant glass with him. He sat down at his desk in the living room and turned on his computer.
Before starting work, he noted down the amount and monetary value of the gold and emeralds he brought with him today.
In a small document on his computer, he wrote down the potential profit amount of all the fruit he had brought from the Elven Village this way, the gold-emerald money, and how much money he would need in an upcoming war.
The village was a little safer now, thanks to the almost finished stone walls. Considering the money he spent on construction materials, the money he had was a huge amount of money, like 2 million TL. Since the most money in his bank account was 4-5 thousand TL, Eren felt like he was rich.
"The only problem now is learning how to buy weapons on the black market. We're going to need plenty of bullets, too."
I won't rest in peace if I don't teach a good lesson to Alexen and the kingdoms that want to own the forest!
"Thank you for everything. I hope there will be no problems."
Eren smiled at the words of the overweight salesman he was shaking hands with. This man was the second person Eren made a deal with that day.
In the morning, he had sold 200 tons of figs from the shop he worked for to a big customer. After handling the issues related to quality and delivery, Eren had that customer taste Tuaz. And the man said he wanted to buy some of this new fruit called Tuaz. It was just a small sale out of the buyer's curiosity.
But hours later, Eren now hired an energetic marketer to sell Tuaz on his behalf.
Each week he would bring this man a certain amount of Tuaz. All the man had to do was to travel all over Istanbul and sell small quantities to people in different markets. He would spread the word as loudly as he could that this fruit was new and that it came from here.
For now, it was not supposed to make a profit, but to spread it to the whole city at very cheap prices.
When he was finally alone in his office, Eren took a small packet of chocolate from his desk drawer and bit it down. He took a sip of the chilled tea left in his glass on the table.
He was both tired and very happy. Finally, something he had planned was going well. And because it provided success, his tiredness was actually sweet.
Eren had been planning what to do and how for two weeks since he had brought Tuaz and Sky Fruits this way. Mira had a lot of plans in this regard, too, but they both pondered what would be the safest route.
The method they finally found was to leave things to time.
Now Eren's only concern was to clear the forest on Evon's side from danger and take over the land around the village. If he had enough land and considering the number of idle elves in the village, he could have unlimited fruit production.
The more they sell in the world, the more technology and workforce they can buy.
It was a very sweet plan on paper.
Why does everything have to be so slow? How quickly things happen in books. I want to develop at no cost and at unreasonable speeds…
..
Just the day before, he had planned a battle with an Ent, had dinner in an elven village and made a gateway to his home.
In the morning, he had made commercial deals and went to a jeweler and pharmacy. Now he was in a hospital. In recent days, the differences between the two universes have decreased for Eren.
It was as if he was traveling in a taxi between the two sides.
He kept forgetting that one was a dangerous and magical Universe and the other a technological modern Earth.
A few days ago, he had searched the refrigerator on Evon's side at night and had tried to find the phone charger at Emily's house last week.
It's like I'm a kind of slave, not the main character of a story or the hero of a magical world. There's so much work to do.
He decided he needed to calm down a bit more and find some free time for vacation as walking in hospital corridors. Then Eren went into the room where they were going to remove his cast from his left arm.
