The first thing Eren did when the cast on his left arm came off was to go to his ex-girlfriend's house.
But Melisa, whom he was sure was pregnant, wasn't at home. He called both Melisa and her family, but no one picked up his calls. When he went to her workplace, they said that Melisa had quit her job a few weeks ago. Due to health problems, she had to leave for a while.
Since she won't be leaving work to take a vacation in mid-September, she definitely wanted to be with her family during pregnancy. I have to go to her right now.

But he decided to ask something that he was deeply suspicious of.

Could his dreams with Melisa be postponed? Or why didn't he get in touch right away, even though there was a chance he might be a father?
Maybe he didn't deserve to have a child.
Maybe…? I really didn't deserve to be a father.
Once his only dream was to buy a new car and new household items. So he could prepare a brand new wedding house and start a family with Melisa.
A few months later, his only goal was to live safely with the elves in the Evon system. He wanted to rise to higher levels and, if possible, form a great harem in both universes and be happily ever after.
His priorities had completely changed.

He walked over to Emily, who wasn't expecting to see him. Eren took the girl on the bed into his arms. Then he closed his eyes and felt at home.
Sensing Eren's mood, Emily opened her eyes a little in her sleep. Then she turned around and inhaled the scent she missed, and stuck Eren's head between her breasts.
Embracing each other naked, the two slept without moving until morning.
