Her eyes wandered around the room as she lingered in the bar. She could see everyone was having a great time at the party. She watched the newlywed pretend to be happy before the guests.
She watched the newlywed's parents celebrate a successful business transaction that would earn them millions. The Kingdom was, after all, a lucrative business empire, and so was the other party.
"You look stunning. Do you mind if I join you?" A man she was not particularly interested in spending another minute joined her, sitting beside her on the bar.
"I do. So, I think it is time you get your drink and move along." She annoyingly responded to the man who thought she welcomed his company.
She turned away from him and concentrated on watching the other people who interested her, especially the other couple on the dance floor.
"Don't be like that. As far as I remember, you always love spending time with me." He mockingly expressed with that irritating smile.
