Nothing seemed special about it. It was the same as the other rooms, maybe a bit bigger. But still, nothing that appeared intriguing enough.
"So, what are we doing here?" Her eyes roamed around the room, checking if something would move other than them. If something weird or paranormal would happen, but nothing did. At least in the first few minutes, they stood inside the room.
"If you promise not to tell anyone about my secret, I will tell you." King Lance knelt before her, looking directly into her eyes, willing her to swear to him.
"I will if you also promise that no one else knows about it, not even Jake." That was her condition. It would not be extraordinary anymore if her brother or someone else shared the secret.
"I promise I kept this to myself that King Edward passed to me. Now I am passing to you." Her father had even placed his hand on his heart to show his sincerity as he pledged to her.
