He had finished most of his morning routine and met several people who wanted his attention. But he had to see one more person before he left for another breakfast engagement.
He closed the last paper he had already signed and placed them on the outgoing tray. Then, he took a folder out of his vault and spread them on his table as he waited for the last person he had to see before leaving.
"Was I wrong all this time?" He asked himself as he stared at the evidence that might have ruined his relationship with Eida and his life.
Maybe he should have done his investigation.
Maybe he should have looked deeper into their situation.
Maybe he should have confronted Eida about the truth before judging her harshly.
Now, he wondered if there was any truth to these reports or if all of these were lies. Was his father capable of concocting these stories to manipulate his life?
