As usual, he worked before the break of dawn and until the middle of the night. When did he sleep? That was the tricky part. He barely slept when he was on his duty.
But during his off days, he had to ensure that his body recovered from the strain of the strenuous week. But today was not that day, as he ran along the courtyard before starting his shift.
"Sir!" One of the roaming guards assigned to check the grounds saluted in his direction as he passed him by. He acknowledged the man with a nod but did not bother to stop.
Everything seemed to be quiet, which was the case most days. There was hardly any disturbance in the palace or any dangerous threat since he took over as the head of security for the safety of the Royal Crown Family.
Except for a few minor disturbances by tourists and paparazzi wanting to take private pictures, he had not encountered life-threatening situations yet. Hopefully, he would not have to face one during his supervision.
