His foot eased on the gas pedals, slightly slowing down the car while his fingers relaxed on the wheels, finishing his final lap. Then, he stopped the car on the side, finally releasing the tension in his body.
He was thankful he survived another day in the tracks. Racing was not a sport that had a high tolerance for mistakes. It was not just anybody's game. And it also demanded respect for the rules and safety precautions.
"Haaahhh!" He released a sigh of relief. He believed anybody who did not fear this game should never go behind the wheel. They had no business being on the tracks.
After a few minutes, he restarted his engine and slowly drove the car. He made a last turn before pulling over at his pit stop. He turned off the ignition and unbuckled his belts, releasing himself from his safety bind.
