She looked at the gates as they passed them, glad she was finally back home again. At least it was the place where she had lived for this past week.
But she somehow missed her home, not the shabby one she had been residing in for months but the house where she had grown up and lived almost her entire life.
"Home sweet home." Nat suddenly said as they pulled up at the front entrance.
It would have been a sweet home if her mother had been here to join her. But she was still happy that the Count and even the Prince had made her stay comfortable, treating her like she was not an outsider.
"Yeah, I guess." She said, agreeing with her as Nat helped her with her shopping bags.
She grabbed some of the bags from the trunk and was about to enter the palace when Nat stopped her, taking the bags from her hand. "What are you doing?" She asked, surprised by her action.
