He finally put his glass down, deciding that alcohol was not the answer to his problem. It was not effective. It was only impeding his ability to think clearly. But it would not make him forget or solve his predicament.
After his encounter with Tyler, he believed he needed his brain to function again. He had to sort out his plans and see where he went wrong. Usually, he had everything figured out. But today, he seemed to be going in circles.
"You have to calm down." He mentally told himself, knowing that losing his temper was not the solution either.
He figured driving out of this place was not an option either since he had already consumed more than enough alcohol to impair his judgment. The last thing he needed was a case of driving under the influence.
Maybe a shower would do the trick as he grabbed his coat and proceeded out of the room. But he found his grandfather by the staircase, also going to his room.
