She sat in another one of the palace rooms, facing the Prince who was behind his table. They had just arrived a few minutes ago when Wesley informed them that the Count would like to see them.
Her eyes scanned the room while they waited silently for the older man to arrive. She could see barely anything that would suggest this was his room, except that he sat on his desk as if he owned it.
She realized he was not the kind of man who liked to display anything personal or his achievements. She remembered his office hardly had anything to indicate that he worked there, except for the name on his door.
They were hardly settled for a few minutes on their chairs when his phone rang. "Yes, Eli." He quickly answered. Then, he listened for a while. "Will you excuse me for a second?" He said as he stood up and walked out of the room to take his conversation privately, away from her.
