She had heard other musicians play the classic on a grand piano, but never like this. They were great, but this man was possessed as he let his fingers glide through the keys like he was on fire.
She never knew that he could play a musical instrument, but it only showed that she hardly knew anything about him. It proved her point that she could not be in love with a stranger.
However, her eyes could not look away as he continued to play. As if hypnotized by the music, she moved just a bit closer, but not too close. She watched him play one song after another as if he could not stop.
She had no idea how many minutes she stood there but only realized that it was long enough when her foot began to ache. Then she also observed that his eyes remained closed while he played the piano, probably not noticing that she was even there.
