She was not anticipating company. She thought the doctor was busy with his work since he rushed to leave earlier. Therefore, she was surprised to see him back with a game board that she believed he intentionally brought to entertain her.
But her peaceful morning turned out not to be so quiet anymore as another one walked to them and wished to join the game. Another one that she least expected. She thought this man had already left, so what was he also doing here?
"I thought you already left, Clay." Tyler turned to the man that walked up the steps, standing before them. "What are you doing here?"
"I did, and now, I am back," Clay answered. "I wish to entertain our guest, but it seems you have already beaten me to that. But you? Don't you have patients?" He continued, looking at the doctor with a raised brow.
