She took a final look in the mirror after fixing herself up and changing into a new set of clothes. Her eyes traveled from her hair, tied in a neat ponytail, and her plain dress, one of her favorite outfits, she brought with her on this trip.
As her eyes stared into her reflection, she suddenly remembered the gown she had worn in her dream. She recalled it was so elegant and stunning, nothing compared to the dress she was currently wearing.
At least in her dream, she looked and felt like a beautiful princess. She could not help it. She once fantasized about living in a castle and being her Daddy's little princess, just like every other little girl she knew.
"But that was just a dream." She mumbled to herself, reminding herself not to let all of these things happening to her get into her head.
