Her world was spinning out of control as she closed her eyes. She hardly drank a drop of alcohol in her system. Yet, she could barely think, much less decide what was good for her.
She doubted that the smell of alcohol on his breath was capable of putting her in a drunken state. But his smoldering lips and his skilled hands certainly had her intoxicated.
She believed it was worse than being drunk, like an obsession, as she craved more. She did not even notice her injured ankle as her mind focused on something else. As they said, distraction was a good cure for pain.
"You make me crazy." His words echoed in her head, making her think he was not the only one. Her life had been on a constant up and down motion since that day she had bumped into him.
