He tapped his feet on the floor as he endured another long conversation with the groom's father and his friends. But as soon as he found an opportunity to excuse himself from the group, he took it.
The shorter hand was almost in line with the long one, just an hour short, and then it would be noon as he gazed at the large clock on the wall. He did not want to stay for the excruciating lunch.
"I will talk to you about that suggestion another time." He told the older man before he moved along.
Although this event could last the entire day until the evening, he had no plan to stay for long. He already showed his respect by staying this long. That should be enough.
