"Are you sure you don't want to work for me instead?" Cole asked before he let her go. "My offer still stands." Still trying to convince her that it would be better if she worked for him. "I assure you that I am a better boss than him." He added as a joke which made her smile.
"I am sure that you will be. I will take note of your offer and grab it once my boss fires me." Luisa told her sweet friend, glad they seemed to patch up their issue.
"I do hope you realize it is not worth working for him. But if not, I wish he fires you because he can't see your worth." This time his face turned serious as he stared into her eyes.
But it only lasted a few seconds before he smiled again and tapped her shoulders. "Go on. I don't want you to be late." He added as he stepped out of her car. "I need to go too, but you have my number. Please, don't hesitate to call."
