Her eyes continued to stare at the view before her, not minding the busy street below them. She only wished to savor the sweet silence, even for a few minutes, knowing she would be back soon to the loud music and constant chattering inside the ballroom.
However, Luisa knew she could not ignore what her friend said. She was not expecting he would suddenly announce something as outrageous as that.
He said he liked her. Not funny. Not at all.
"Stop that! You made your fun." She slightly chuckled, taking what her friend said as a prank.
She had known him as someone who loved to make fun, taking life not seriously as he should. Well, he did not need to since he never had to think about the consequence of his actions.
He could always get away with his mischievous acts. His father almost had connections everywhere. He could declare himself as a Prince in this city if he would like because his father was considered King that ruled this urban land.
