Chapter 10 - Chapter Nine

The world outside of the château stood still, warm with the noon sun. People went about there daily lives, probably finishing up their lunches by now so they can get back to work on time. Within the werewolf vicinity, a meeting was being held centered around the biggest abomination among the specie. The pure blood birth of a half vampire, half werewolf woman explained and forgiven. What will this decision cause? Turmoil? Chaos? Trauma? Loss of a loved one? Love? Betrayal? Or all of the above?

Csilla kept eye contact with the alpha of the pack after whispering his name. Her voice trembled as she completed it, her senses suddenly becoming more alert than usual. For a second, their world was silent. All stood still. Just for a second...

"Ah...oh god," Lucian fell forward just as Csilla moaned her surprise as that unfamiliar feeling of raging pleasure swept over her.

Her mind throbbed, her body shivered, her legs forced themselves apart, yearning. The heat was becoming too much. Lucian roared, scrapping his now protruded claws through the smooth wood of the floors beneath him as he suffered the same fate.

"All of you, out!" The alpha bellowed, ripping his t-shirt from his body.

The unmated male wolves were having a hard time leaving the room due to the instant height of her heat. It was unbearable and they had to be tackled to the floor and forcefully dragged from the room. Csilla rolled over onto her back, panting and ripping at her own clothes, her hands now brandishing claws. The damage being done to her porcelain skin worried Lenore, but all she could do was pull William away from the two heated alphas. Though she was two halves, one of her parents was an alpha, hence, she too had the title.

"Should we not help them," William questioned, his voice cracking from worry.

Lenore shook her head sympathetically, pulling him back with more strength than she intended to, so as to drive her point home.

"They have to fight and help each other. She is his mate and him, hers."

He had said that to Lucian earlier that day and found himself pinned to the wall for thinking such a thing could every be true. That mere theory was now being played out right in front of them. Csilla hissed, crawling across the floor to where Lucian was struggling against the immense pleasure that shackled him mentally, leaving him helpless. Lenore pulled the soon-to-be beta from the room, closing the door behind them. Her muffled voice could be heard clearly by the two as she slowly and patiently explained to the pack what was taking place. Lucian growled at her, reaching for her, unable to fight against the want her scent, her heat has forced upon him.

"Csilla," the alpha moaned, scraping his claws across his chest.

Hot blood leaked from his wounds, immediately catching her attention. The vampire side of her matched the werewolf side and together, they combined to form the ultimate weapon...the ultimate alpha. The scent of his blood called to her as she crawled closer, wrapping her slender fingers around his throat. His heart rate was through the roof and his burning blood coursed hotly through his veins. Her eyes fell to his neck where his pulse was more than visible to her. Each beat was automatically being counted in her mind as her canines became elongated. It was rather strange to Lucian to see a werewolf with the traits of a blood sucker, and surprisingly, the urge to be bitten added to the pleasure.

"Csilla..." he moaned again, turning his head to one side so his neck was completely exposed to her. "Bite me."

Her eyes remained on that thick, throbbing vein in his neck. She ached to sink her fangs into it and savor his sweet, hot blood. But she could not, and it bothered her.

"Please, Csilla...bite me."

"No...this is...this is the curse talking," she shook her head, trying to pull away from his side.

"Bite...me...oh fuck, hah," Lucian held firmly to her hand that still held his throat and squeezed.

"Stop it...oh my god," Csilla fell forward, her head landing on his shoulder.

The scent was stronger and even more tempting now that her skin was in complete contact with him. She bared her fangs, about to bite into him, only to powerfully pull away once more. She wanted to coat her hand in his blood and have a taste, but what would that do? Make her lose control and possibly drain his body until his life became pass tense. This will just have to do...for now. The tell tale sign of her fading pleasure was now replaced with the agony of being inside her own skin. Lucian must have switched as well because he was now growling himself into a temper. Whatever pleasure or pain she felt in that moment, was also felt by him. What could she do to stop this? It stopped automatically on its own the last time. The paralytic feeling was slowly taking over her and soon she won't be able to move. Shakily, she forced herself to sit upright so she could have a better angle before punching him square in the face. The alpha instantly went out, blood trickling from his nose at a dangerous speed. As soon as he was out, the pain faded, replaced with a numb sense of feeling. Csilla settled on the floor beside him, fighting to stay awake. Even though she was somewhat accepted as one of them, her trust was not with them. The room became quiet. The mess of sweat, blood and a damaged floor covered in scratches surprised the pack as they carried them out of the room. The unmated males were locked away during that time and remained there because the scent of the hybrid's heat was still strong, but fading.

"Wow. These two should be kept in metal cages," William joked, taking detailed note and a picture of the aftermath, in this case, the damaged floor. His comments earned him a slap upside the head as a now dressed Lenore watched the pack members get to work on cleaning and fixing the damage.

"Do not say such foolery," she hissed. Could she be angry?

"I am sorry. Can you tell me why Lucian was begging for her to devour him."

Lenore glowered at him, pulling at his ear and shaking it until he cried surrender. "I have only ever heard stories of these abandoned creatures, my dear. My biggest guess is that once the two are in heat, the weaker of the two will be begging to be claimed by the other. I heard a bite from a very powerful being like Csilla feels like heaven."

"I'm not buying it."

"It matters not. The pack is stronger with her on our side. Can you imagine the disadvantage we would be under if she had chosen the other side?" Lenore closed her tired eyes, her voice like ice. "Chaos. For she is stronger than the pack of us."
