Leo kissed her passionately, nibbling on every corner of her lip, and didn't even want to let go. Zella slung her arms on his shoulders, letting her body weakened with every touch he made. Leo separated from her lips, and didn't even open his eyes when he breathed, "Straddle me."
Zella didn't know why her body moved before her mind ordered her to. Leo adjusted his position in the bed, and Zella sat on his lap, straddling him. She tipped her head forward, kissing him, and Leo held on to her hips. It drove her on.
Zella scraped her long nails to his head. She knuckled her fists, tugging on those small strands of his hair.
Leo broke off from her lips, and planted light-feather kisses on her jaw, under her chin, and down to her neck. Zella tilt her head back, giving him access as she pushed to his lap, feeling the crotch down her groin.
Zella rolled her eyes back to her sockets as Leo got aggressive and kissed every corner of her neck sloppily. This was the first time he had done it. No woman had ever swept his feet off.
Only Zella… only her…
Leo journeyed his hand up her neck, and throwing her on the bed gently. Zella got surprised, squealing out in surprise, and even found it amusing with Leo's professional moves. Zella's mind was blank, and the only thing she can think of was Leo's body.
He hovered on top of her, met her lips for a second, and leaned his forehead to hers. Zella rested her hands on his chest, touching it, and the warmth radiated to her palms. Leo isn't waking up no matter he tried to resisted it.
He liked her taste. Too much that he doesn't want to stop.
This is all going south, but Leo doesn't seem to care.
He's going to sleep with his fake wife and the woman he intended to behead in a matter of days. Isn't it a bit cruel on his side?
Leo opened up his eyes, looked down at Zella, and she have gone curious why he stopped. Leo cleared his throat, asking, "Are you sure you're alright to remember this?"
That question broke off the tension already. They're close at each other, but his breath didn't linger any more than a second ago. Zella turned to his eyes, returning back the question, "Why are you asking me that when you should give me this time, Leo, as your wife?"
Things don't go out the way she expected to be.
Leo gave her that look of doubt. Zella can read it in his eyes. He doesn't want to give in because he's injured? Fine. Zella pushed him gently, and Leo gave a way out. She went out from underneath him, and rolled to the other side of the bed.
Leo stared at the space from where he left off, embarrassed by kissing her, for giving her an order to straddle him. Besides, these were all wrong. Leo was on hold, and he had to do the job as fast as possible.
How could he kill a woman he slept with? The woman who mended his wounds? The one who stole his first kiss? Leo closed his eyes, sitting up, and didn't even turn to Zella, who was planning to sleep on another room.
Leo turned to her. She's wearing an emotionless face. Leo doesn't have the right to say sorry this time.
"You have two debts to me now." She hugged the pillows on her side, and met his eyes with a cold gaze. Leo didn't answer.
"One, for you to answer who you are, and two, for me to know the reason you're hesitating every time an intimate moment comes when I'm your wife. If you don't give me the answer, I'll leave this mansion."
It made Leo froze in his position. Zella left him hanging on the master's bedroom as she went out, slamming the door tight.
As her footsteps disappeared, Leo gritted his teeth, fall back down on the pillows, and screamed.
…
Jeremy motioned for the visitor to come in. The first thing in the morning he had to do was deal with the business and the headache of the runaways from Telamur. Jeremy didn't know if Sam was serious with the business.
In fact, the number of runaways tripled more than the last ones in the next 3 years.
Then, he's the one who would clean up his mess. Even the spies of the Calvorite had nothing to do but to oblige his order. As Jeremy settled down behind the desk, he wondered about the things Leo said to him yesterday.
Theo Rilop knows about the spies of Calvorite, specifically, their group Cassanos? That's impossible. Jeremy signed an agreement with Sam that no one would be able to know about his groups and the set of its members. And now… he would find out that one of the runaways know about them?
"Sam must be hiding something from me," Jeremy whispered. Right at that moment, the door opened. Two women wearing black and tinted shades walked in, and bowed down their heads to Jeremy. He stood up, greeting the same gesture back.
The attendant closed the door for their privacy.
Right away, he recognized it was the Mrs. President, Tina Yunis.
The brunette beside her must be…
"I brought my daughter with me. She liked to cooperate with the spies of yours, Mr. Jeremy Tyran." Yunis's voice was sweet, tender to even hear. But underneath that soft face was a dangerous lion no one would even dare to swipe a knife at.
Jeremy shook her hands with Tina, saying, "Take a seat down first before saying your business to me, Mrs. President."
She laughed halfheartedly. Tina ushered her daughter, Louise, to take a seat down on the couch. She settled on the sofa while Jeremy brought some tea for refreshments. Tina wore off her hat, and placed it down along with her luxury bag.
Jeremy gave a little smile to Louise, complimenting, "You grew up well, Ms. Louise Shelton. You looked just like your mother."
She beamed, her cheeks flushed. Her eyes were similar to an angel, and her cheeks are contoured, complimenting her heart-shaped face. She's wearing a slack and a coat, a simple woman who doesn't know how to dress flowery tops and skinny jeans.
"She doesn't like to dresses, that's the downside of it. Maybe she just wanted to be my security bodyguard."
"Mom," Louise called out. Tina laughed.
Jeremy nodded, and the banter died down already. He asked, "So what's your business here? What about the spies I have? Do you want to join, Ms. Louise Shelton?"
Tina crossed her legs, and offered a deal with Jeremy. She muttered, "My daughter is one of the trainers in the inspection team for the President for the past year. She passed the civil service examination last week, so I'm finding a job for her. Now, as I don't like the progress Mr. Sam Grobes is making with their Tempus Moneda, maybe…"
Jeremy knew exactly where she's headed. He nodded, suggesting, "You want to build an inspection team for my spies, right?"
It's actually a good idea. Certain loopholes he didn't see would be able to reach his ears before it can even reach the Calvorite or Telamur citizens.
"Yeah, that's it. Personally, I wanted to look into Cassanos. I heard they're good with their jobs, right?"
Jeremy remembered what his sister reported to him. Hailey was so good at observing.
"Yeah, they're really great. They're the ones assigned for the fugitives since their teamwork played really well. So, do you want to build an inspection team for them?"
