Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

★★★★★★Back To Present ★★★★★★

Anna, Anna, Anna....Logan called out my name. "How did you know my name?" I jumped up startled.

I have to drink human blood for survival. The transition was not easy because I had to stay in this weird castle during the day. I lost my life, lost my friends I lost everything too, damn he said crying.

I stared at him for some seconds in confusion.

"Don't be scared of me I am not going to hurt you," he shook his head to emphasize that he wasn't going to harm me. I don't know why but I trust him.

Anna Pov

I sluggishly get out of bed and walk toward the bathroom. After I took my bath I came out already dressed. Logan sat on the bed with his phone in his ear as he placed a call on one of his maids.

We walked a long distance. As we climbed on top of a cliff, I paused for some time to catch my breath.

"Are we jumping?" Yeah, he replies curtly. Hell no I ain't j...u...mp..ing jumping with you, I flinched.

"I am scared of heights" I clutched onto him tightly. He smiled and held my hands, then we appeared in a different place. Wow, this place looks like a different planet. The vibrant colors, the mild fragrances, and the captivating beauty of flowers enchant the soul, and therefore, the garden looks like heaven.

"It seems you are a lover of flowers," he asked me.

Yeah, my favorite flower is the rose. I like other flowers too but I find the rose to be the most beautiful among all flowers, I said grinning. It is also called the king of flowers. They come in many colors so it offers great variety. I am a fan of white rose. Even though the rose has small and sharp thorns on its stem, people love picking roses.

It looks beautiful when it blooms in the garden or is kept at the florist's shop. Often we see the rose as a symbol of beauty and love. "Wow" I don't even know a thing about flowers, Logan responded.

Anna, Logan called me. There is something I want to show you something he said.

immediately I turned my back he changed into a white wolf with blue eyes....one of the cutest things I have ever seen. His eyes were wide open and his fingers were clawed he stared at me, with his eyes looking so innocent.

"This is who I am"

Wait, you are different from the monster that attacked me. The one that pulled my hair has red eyes but yours is different and you smell different too.

How is that possible or maybe you are not the one that attacked us?

"Yeah" I was not the one, he answered it was one of Daxion's grandsons that attacked you and your gang members.

Daxion! the grandson of the one who murdered your father?

"Yeah" he replied with a lot of anger written all over his face.

He is just a normal wolf. Unlike me, I am a werewolf meaning the hybrid of half-human and half-wolf. In this era, werewolves prefer to be in their human form to mingle with humans. Hmmm, interesting I said quite amused.

Werewolves have an enhanced sense of hearing, vision, speed, and smell. They heal 10 times faster than a normal wolf.

Anna's mind raced with questions as she processed Logan's revelation. She couldn't believe that the gentle and kind-hearted person before her was connected to the monstrous creature that had attacked her and her friends. Yet, as she looked into his eyes, she sensed a genuine sincerity that resonated with her.

"Logan, I don't understand. Why are you telling me this now?" Anna asked, her voice tinged with confusion.

Logan sighed, his wolf form shifting back into his human form as he sat down on a nearby rock. "I know this must be a lot to take in, Anna. But you deserve to know the truth."

He paused, gathering his thoughts before continuing. "My family has been cursed for generations, bound by a dark pact made with Daxion, the beta. We are compelled to do his bidding, to carry out his will even if it goes against our own conscience."

Anna listened intently, her heart heavy with empathy for Logan. She couldn't imagine the burden he carried, trapped between his own desires and the demands of a malevolent force.

"But why are you telling me all of this now?" Anna pressed, her curiosity growing.

Logan's expression softened, and he reached out to gently touch her hand. "Because, Anna, you're different. Ever since you arrived here, I've felt a connection to you. You've shown me kindness and understanding, something I never thought I would find in this world."

Anna's breath caught in her throat as she realized the depth of Logan's feelings. She had always felt a strange pull towards him, an inexplicable bond that defied logic. And now, as she looked into his eyes, she knew that their connection ran deeper than she had ever imagined.

Anna's mind buzzed with a whirlwind of emotions as Logan's revelation sank in. Werewolves, curses, dark pacts— it felt like something out of a fantasy novel. Yet, here she was, standing in the moonlit garden with a man who could transform into a wolf before her eyes.

As they stood there, the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves, Anna couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the world she had stumbled into. It was as if she had been granted access to a hidden realm, a secret world that existed just beyond the confines of her own reality.

"Logan, I..." Anna began, her voice faltering as she struggled to put her feelings into words.

But before she could speak, a sudden movement in the shadows caught her attention. Logan tensed beside her, his senses on high alert as he scanned the surrounding darkness for any sign of danger.

"Logan, what is it?"
