When the group of five arrived to the top, a gothic passage with candle-stand burning in flames, glowed the hall with its golden light.
Gold light plus, the large glass windows that enchanted the moon light, viewing the smooth flow of dust particulars, represented a rare beauty of night scene inside clear mirror hall.
The boys were amazed by the atmosphere, viewing the silence of the hall.
Al thou, there were nearly fifty, hundred to two-hundred doors however, the hall was completely dead.
Not a single sound noise of naughty lads were heard.
This grew the curiosity of the wizard as he asked, "Sir where are everyone? Are we the only once to arrive here?
Although there are hundred doors in this floor so, why isn't there any noise?"
"To your answer, my boy. There are still arriving." replied the Butler leading the path once again, "Some are available in their room while some are still arriving from behind. It takes sometimes.
Remember the call at the hall is going in slow slope. However, everyone will attend to their bed rooms."
The main Butler paced faster, crossing some doors until his heel stopped in front of the door with the number plate Eight-six. There was small bulb at the door's edge.
"Here we are! Your very own room" he stepped aside and welcome them to processed.
All four stared at the door as Layzen went forth to open it.
Upon entering the craved door, the four boys lost their breathing in viewing a large room.
It was layered with clear epoxy tiles, blue wall paint, brown furniture and decorations placed around.
At the left, there was two double beds with pillow and blankets arranged.
At the right was the arrangements set like four wide cupboards, dressing tables, four stands for clothes, large table with four chairs and an empty book shelf.
A large window was facing the direction of the door where the whole land of the academy was seen.
"What do you think my boys?" he asked.
"This is beyond our thoughts" replied the Elf in astonishment.
"Exactly! This is what we like to hear…" replied the Butler in a smile, "to break your expectations.
Lord has asked to set similar ways for each student in the boy's section.
Remember a bed room is always a resting place.
So, boys take rest and tomorrow you shall be discovering the class system and the school's rules plus, the authority too.
Today was a busy day after all. Good night" he bowed and left.
Before exiting, he remarked," By the way boys, do not worry about interrupting knocks.
Keep in mind that there is a bulb outside your room.
It glows on its own whenever someone is available inside.
It turns off when no one is inside.
Keep this in note. And good night." He bowed and left by shutting the door.
Once the door was shut behind, leaving the four lads at the center of the room, the Elf rushed to the bed alarming.
"ME FIRST!"
He hopped, throwing his shoes away and bounced on the right-side bed, cradling the pillow with a big hug,
"OOOO! IT'S SO SOFT!" he squeaked it harder.
The other three boys caught up to the side, when Audrey nagged, "You shouldn't throw off your shoes like this you know. It might hit someone."
"NAH! It's fine." frown the Elf with a fuss, "How about Eden pick it up for me. He can do that, right?"
The boy didn't say a word. He was about to move when the vampire stepped forth,
"Stop it!" he scolded coming closer to him, "You need to keep some manner for others.
We are all new to each other so why are you pin-pointing him from the start!
We all just met each other not just he that you can take him as an odd creature!"
The Elf puffed his face in a fuss, replying, "NAH! It doesn't matter. I am out of this…"
The Elf ignored all what the Vampire was telling him and turned away. Soon, he fell asleep.
"He's a brat!" commented Layzen.
"Yeah! I am sure he's going to be a headache. He can't stop pin-pointing the Magus." sighed Audrey as both watched him snoring in sleep.
The wizard gazed at his friend commenting, "Their condition reminds me of Frog and Magus from Chrono trigger."
"Not that simple. I think this is worse" replied Vampire at his point.
Suddenly, the wizard turned around asking, "Speaking about a Magus, where is Eden Locker?"
Both noticed him out of sight even when they turned behind to find him.
"Where did he go?" astonished both when Layzen called out,
"EDEN!!!"
"Don't worry. I heard all! I am still here!" came up a reply answering his call.
Both the creature turned back and saw him stepping out of the right turn with his outfit changed.
He was wearing sleeping clothes. He asked standing in a pose showing his clothes, "What do you think?"
"Where did you get those?" asked the wizard in a smile, pacing to him surprised from where did it come? He haven't seen Eden bring with him any of these when walking with them here.
Eden giggled and explained them that he was surprised to find he have his own wardrobe, when he read his name printed on the cup-board, which made him pretty excited to check it out.
When he opened his cup-board, he was astonished to find out every suit, clothing, storage and shoes. Every daily need of student was presented in the ward robe.
"And the exciting thing is the method of changing!" said Eden in excitement. He sounded like a child rushing to a candy shop first time.
"All you need to do is touch the cloth close to yourself and the uniforms exchanged their position! Cool, right?
"It's really fun!
The only thing you have to do is changing your shoes!" he said his voice going a bit down and then rose up again in much enthusiasm,
"SOUNDS FUN, RIGHT!
Go ahead and try it out!" he announced making the two excited like him as well.
Both felt amazed by this. They grew eager to check it out as they rushed up to their own respective wardrobe, picking up their night suit.
They followed Eden's steps because he was the first to discover these and there was the result.
The two boys' suits, hats and gloves plus with the suit's jewelries were placed in a hanger replacing their night suit. It was kept in arrangement as though someone had placed it with so much care and cautions.
And of course, that said 'someone' wasn't them but, the school functions.
"Wow, cool!" hollered Andrey adding "every step we take here we are amazed by the service provided by the school."
Indeed, such high standard service would surprise any new comer.
You would never get anything like this in any school, academy, university or any place you went for studying.
"All they want us to do is study hard and grow stronger." Said Eden.
"You are right," nodded Layzen "let's choose our beds and fell to our dreams." He said starting to feel the effect of tiredness after he whole days event.
"Maybe our dream will astonish us too just like the school is doing it," commented Andrey the wizard resulting all three in a laugh.
"So which bed would you like to take, Eden?" asked Andrey giving him the first pick
"Well, I think I will choose the left side top and you?" he returned the question to the Wizard.
"I will sleep on the lower one," he selected.
"Then that leaves me with no choice but, to sleep above that chatter box." Shrugged the Vampire helplessly, taking his place, both chuckled.
Suddenly, someone pricked at Eden's back.
"Huh?" he turned scandalized, veered back growing astonished calling out with happiness,
"Luminaire!"
"What did you say?" surprised the Wizard thinking he have heard wrong, Eden calling out to someone that wasn't even in the room.
He gazed at the Vampire who repeated as he heard him correctly with his sharp sense,
"Luminaire?"
"Yes, I called Luminaire," confirmed Eden what he said as he even turned towards their direction, showing them a long broom, "this is Luminaire, my best friend broom. Though I didn't get to know him much however, it is my best pal."
"Ah, I see" nodded the Vampire when Andrey stretched out his palm to the broom as if it was a person saying, "nice to meet you, Luminaire."
The broom returned to its owner, rotating around it.
Of course, it wouldn't shake its hand with him because it doesn't have hands in the first place. But, it went to its owner who could understand it much well.
"He likes it." Eden replied referring to the broom that it's happy to meet his owner's friend and be treated like a living thing.
"By the way, where were you, Luminaire? I didn't see you around?" asked Eden.
The Broom in reply, stood straight.
It raise and gave him a hard stamp on his head.
"OUCH! Cheese what was that for?!" complained Eden stroking his head by the blow.
The Broom span away as though it was off-mood with him.
At first the master was puzzled, then he got a shock and said, "AH! I get it now…" smiled Eden realizing that it was his fault to leave the broom behind,
"I apologize for that. I know I was the one to leave you behind. So, I am sorry about that…."
The broom returned to the boy, and rotated around like it had forgiven him and was starting a new page with him.
"I am kind of starting to enjoy this broom, Eden" said Layzen while climbing up the ladder as he got to his bed.
"I think it likes to play," said Eden while the broom was spinning around him, "It's kind of large in size but, I will get kind of use to it."
"What about you, Audrey?" asked Layzen by leaning down of side to the Wizard.
"I enjoy it too," smiled Andrey watching Eden shocked, noticing how excited he was while looking at the broom that spun around its master.
His smile faded as he said to himself, "so, this is how it goes…... he is lonely."
