Gina couldn't help but approach the illusion artist after seeing him in pain. She ran quickly while yelling his name.
"Please, Zeryon, hold on."
Gina picked up Zeryon's head with both hands and carried it on her lap. Gina's hand was wet with a thick liquid, and when she raised one hand, she noticed fresh blood smeared on it.
She had no idea Madrox's hit would be so devastating. The black blade in the tall man's hand was the size of a skateboard. It was clear from the way he raised the weapon that it was heavy. One could be injured without even touching the tip.
Her sobs had now filled the room. Her hands were trembling. It broke her heart to see Zeryon hurt.
Zeryon raised his hand and wiped Gina's tears away, saying, "Don't cry. I'll be fine."
"You're hurt," Gina said, tremblingly touching Zeryon's cheek.
"Not too bad, I think," Zeryon said with a smile. "As soon as you touch the wound, it will heal."
