Modesty's eyes were rounded perfectly. She almost dropped the phone in her hand when she heard her mother's shrill voice.
"I never thought that you would do this to me, Gina."
"What do you mean, Mom?"
Gina was at a loss for words. She'd been cornered, but she was too scared to admit it. Because she was well aware the consequences of her decision that she would be in serious trouble.
"You disobeyed my order not to leave the house. And you even have a relationship with a man?"
Her body trembled in response to her mother's question. She'd been discovered.
"Did you see the news on the internet? That was just a fake news." Gina was attempting to avoid answering his mother's question.
