Gina took a deep breath. She just wanted to believe that her birthmark was just a random genetic occurrence. But her mother words indicated that it meant something else.
"Of course. It has been present since your birth. It will not harm you. However, you are not permitted to show it to anyone. And please don't ask me why."
"But why is a birthmark like a picture of a symbol?" Gina asked curiously.
Gina could hear her mother's long sigh through the silence. For a brief moment, their conversation was halted.
"The birthmark will reveal a fragment of a story about the past and a destiny. But don't dwell on it too much."
"It's a mark on my body, Mom, and I need to know."
"I can't tell you on the phone. If you really want to know about it. Just wait until I come home."
Whether Gina likes it or not, she must agree with her mother's words. She will have to wait a little longer until all of the hidden secrets are revealed.
