Zeryon tried to hold back the smile that was about to leave his face because he noticed Gina sitting awkwardly in front of him. Her cheeks were flushed, though she tried to turn her face away.
He looked out the window. Demons have a higher sense of hearing and smell. He could hear wild animals roaming around. It aroused his desire in hunting when he needed energy intake.
He subconsciously looked at Gina with passion because he was hungry. The sweet odor of her body even beat the aroma of the coffee she was drinking.
Gina swallowed and cleared her throat. Then set the coffee cup down. Zeryon's gaze was drawn to the window.
"The coffee is good," Gina said.
Zeryon smiled and said, "Everyone loves Heva's coffee."
"Oh, who exactly is she? Is she your wife?" Gina inquired, her voice hesitant.
"How do you know she's my wife?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I won't ask it anymore," Gina looked away as she pursed her lips.
