Gina fixed her gaze on Zeryon. It was as if she was looking for an honest answer in his eyes to his statement about her own family.
"What do you mean by truth?" Gina inquired, her tone tense.
"Forget it." When the heat in Gina's intonation suddenly increased, Zeryon wanted to avoid her question.
"You can't just give someone a statement and then leave her in shock with no explanation." Gina's blue eyes dilated.
Zeryon couldn't avoid Gina's insistence, so he just acted spontaneous by saying that information. He never intended to make her feel uneasy. So, he had no choice but to tell the truth.
"Your mother adopted Modesty thirteen years ago," Zeryon explained shortly.
"What? Modesty isn't my biological sister?" Gina's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open for a split second.
"I'm not sure exactly how. I only have information about the data."
