Gina stood her ground, determined to not give in. She closed her eyes and focused on her inner strength, calling forth a bright light that surrounded her, pushing against Duca's dark energy.
"You can't control me," she said with a firm voice. "I won't let you turn me into something I'm not."
Duca's expression turned to one of anger, his eyes glowing with an intense red light. "You will regret this," he said in a low growl.
Gina stood her ground, the light around her shining brighter and stronger. "I won't," she replied confidently. "I may not have the power you have, but I have something much more important: my freedom."
"I know you want the power, Gina. You can't lie to me. Put down your ego and just come to your father." Duca tried to persuade Gina.
Gina shook her head. "No, I won't go down that path, no matter how tempting it may seem."
