It was becoming harder to breathe, to get past the fog, to be able to move. The black water was getting to her. Audra sat up on the bed gasping. She took in deep breaths. Breaths that were lost. Her hands to her chest clenched in pain. She grunted at the pain that still enveloped her body. The door pushed open and Audra finally looked up taking in the room, that wasn't hers. But she was now familiarized by the cream colored room.
Nicole entered the room frantically.
"Are you alright?" he bombarded her with questions. Audra stared at him with a blank face, her mind processing things. Last thing she remembered was checking Karl's breath before darkness absorbed her.
"Karl," she whispered, questioning Nicole. She had to know about him and she was afraid he was gone.
"He is fine" He tried to calm her and he could see the panic brewing in her eyes.
"I want to meet him please" she requested, slipping off the bed ready to leave.
