Chapter 96 - Silent prayers

The world revolves and it will continue to revolve. Billion years have passed by the revolving world and many more years are left to be revolved, or maybe months or maybe days or possibly a few minutes. But the world doesn't stop its cycle. It continues to revolve. It doesn't wait for anyone and sometimes that is the most painful of thoughts. When you just wish for the world to vanish. For the world to rest and take a breath allows you to take a breath but insensitive as it is it continues to revolve without a care. So in the end everyone gets up and continues on with their day so that's what Ian did as well. He fought the demons that threatened to wreck him to take away his life. HE fought against everything that hooked him under the ocean, taking away his breath. His body still weak, he got up from the floor. He had a meeting to attend. He had a border to cross. He had amendments to make. It was already too late; he couldn't wait longer.
