"Get going. Eleanor, don't waste my time. Alan is home!" These words were enough for her to be running from the hallway.
Of all the days, why did they come to work with their dad and not come in Lolly's car? Lolly's car would've gotten them home faster.
They needed to be home as quickly as possible.
Was Lolly telling the truth? Was Alan finally home? She would bite her head off if it turned out she was joking with her.
However, she knew Lolly would never lie to her especially when it was something as important as that.
So Alan was home! He was home! Her husband was home.
Eleanor was beyond happy and she didn't know what to do.
As Eleanor rushed out of the building, her heart was pounding in her chest. She heard Lolly behind her.
"Be careful, we don't want you falling!"
She briefly looked behind her and she could tell Lolly was equally as happy as she was.
