"I have a surprise for you!" James kept screaming outside until he got to the hall. None of his brothers were around even though it was a Saturday.
Their mum or his dad was also not seen in the hall. Neither was Diana as well. The whole place was as quiet as a sleeping viper's place.
That was usually unlikely; to have the pack house peaceful like that. Not even the helpers were walking around.
'Where is everyone?' James sent a mind link to his brothers, hoping anyone would answer and tell him where they were.
'The meeting room. The elders are back.' Wrong timing! If they saw Eleanor, there was no going back on the things they'd say and Alan was probably going to kill him for not telling him beforehand.
He better hid her before they finished with the meeting.
'There's no need to come. We are done,' Daniel informed him again and James quickly headed to the door, to ask Eleanor to hurriedly follow him.
