"I should call you when I need you. Then I must as well keep your desk in here," he spoke and she turned back to look at him. Her smile widened and she shook her head in disapproval.
"Thanks for the pastries. I appreciate that." Alan had a silly grin on his face. The gesture piqued his interest.
Probably because he was pleased that his mate bought him pastries when he didn't even ask or wasn't present when she did.
He had the impression that she had been thinking about him all night and the next day.
This was a pleasant way for him to begin his day. Was there anything he could wish for or desire right now?
Knowing his mate was thinking about him, he doubted anything could surpass that.
Eleanor only nodded as she walked away. Lolly was sitting behind her desk, eating some of the pastries when she returned to her office.
"I saved some for you and Scarlet," Lolly shamelessly told her, while her mouth was filled with them.
