"Welcome back to the land of the living," Elizabeth joked as she got up from her seat to welcome him. At that moment, they all forgot the elders were seated in their seat.
James still clung to his dad, Felix. He almost forgot there were others around. His heart was filled with happiness. Everyone was happy to see him again, standing confidently like he once stood.
"Why doesn't mum look surprised?" Daniel's finger pointed at Elizabeth as she smiled. She knew he was coming today and she knew he had cleaned himself up.
Other than everyone that looked stunned by his visit, she looked like she had just had a conversation with him.
"I messaged your mum about coming today. I wanted it to be a surprise. I'm glad I did, I love your reactions. Wow, you all have grown bigger than I last saw you," he also uttered as he hugged them back. Their faces were lighted up with smiles.
