Alan had gotten to the workplace before the meeting time reached. He was feeling happier about what he had done. He bet his mate would be singing his praise when she heard that.
Eleanor's office was the first he entered and when she saw him, her eyes sparkled with joy and she smiled at him, forgetting she had told him to take a rest at home.
"Good afternoon princess, how has your day been!" He greeted her with a grin on his face. Eleanor blushed as she heard him speak. His voice sounded richer as she always remembered.
"Wait, you are supposed to be resting!" She exclaimed, hoping she wasn't as commanding as her voice sounded and he chuckled.
