Alan's head rested on her lap as she sat quietly behind the seat. She became enraged as she observed them driving past numerous hospitals.
Jordan sat behind them, and her gaze shifted from one brother to the other. They all appeared solemn and foreboding. That only seemed to have alarmed her the more.
"Why are we driving past these hospitals? Let's get him there first, and then you can transfer him to wherever you want once he's out of danger!" She screamed at them and her body shook in rage. Her fear was replaced by anguish as she rubbed the back of her neck violently.
"Calm down, young lady. Breathe in, then exhale. Once again, breathe in, breathe out," Jordan tried to help, as he continued to practice her breathing with her. She was more terrified than they were.
They could sense his wolf, but it was frail, and they were afraid he'd shift in front of her. Or let out a deafening roar in his wolf voice.
