Young Eleanor advanced and scooped the wolf into her lap and arms. Then she began teasing with its fur.
She complimented Lolly's pup, remarking, "Your dark fur is extremely beautiful," and the wolf began to relax in her arms.
"I'll take you home since I know you're lost. Remember that I have a beautiful sister and a very evil aunt. We will look out for one another."
It was too heavy for her to handle when she got up to leave, so she sat beneath the tree with it until it was strong enough to stand up on its own.
The pup strolled hand in hand with Eleanor while togging on one leg, and that evening she was able to tuck it inside without her aunty seeing.
While Alfredo was frantically searching for her in the evening, she experienced the comfort of having a family. Lolly didn't remember to change back into her human form—or more accurately, her pup wouldn't.
