"Eleanor, don't tell me you told her! After I told you I didn't hate you. Is this how you paid me back?" He screamed at her and Alan glared back at him.
"I didn't! She figured it out herself." The girl even knew it before she witnessed it with her own eyes.
"Alan, you knew this and didn't tell me? I thought we were best friends! What the hell? No, you are more fucked up than I thought you were!" Eleanor frowned at his words. Why would he call her husband that?
"It's not his fault. I begged him not to tell you."
"That's even worse! You two are awful! Do you know the number of times I had woken up scared she'd find out and leave me?" He looked hurt and his eyes were almost filled with tears.
Damn! He loved his wife that much.
Eleanor lowered her head. She didn't know if she did the right thing or not. Pretty had begged her not to tell him for reasons unknown to her.
