Scarlet stopped whatever she was doing and looked at her sister to see if she would get any reaction from her.
Eleanor jumped out of bed that moment, almost falling on her knees but fell back on the bed.
A new wave of emotion washed through her as she got up quickly and headed to the door. Her heart was beating faster with each step she took.
"Hello, Eleanor! Good afternoon, I got your address from Alan, and he extends his greetings," Pretty greeted with a cheerful smile.
Eleanor smiled back but her smile did not reach her eyes. She bit her lips nervously.
"You look disappointed. Arh! You thought I was Alan, right? Well, we can fix that. He'd race in here if we give him a call." Eleanor quickly stopped Pretty from reaching into her bag for her phone.
Alan's name had sent a shiver all over her body when she heard it. The man still had that effect on her.
