She woke up and saw her brother looking at her
"Rise and shine sleepy head. You look like you've not slept in days" he said
"How long?" She asked
She didn't need to complete her sentence. Her brother knew what she was asking about
"A couple of hours actually. C'mon, everybody is waiting to hear what happened"
He said as he offered her his hand and she took it. They went downstairs together. She saw their captive sitting on a chair. She noticed a scar on his neck. She had seen that scar somewhere? David had the same scar and so did Diane. She walked up to him
"Beth?" Yale said
"Hey, baby. What's going on?" She asked
"It's nothing. What happened?" Yale asked
"How did you escape?" Carl asked almost immediately
"I uhm.. I fought my way out. I killed their leader and the rest just decided to stand down"
"That feels to easy" Carl said
"I agree. Something isn't adding up. Why did they want you?" Her aunt asked
