In four seconds, she snapped their necks and sped back to him. She headed back home. She got to the door in minutes although she was far from it. She got in and she met Carl on the floor, bleeding. She ran to him
"What the hell happened here?" She asked him
"They came. I was the only one home"
"What did they take?" She asked
"They came for the scroll. I gave it to Karen and I asked her to go as far as possible!" He said as he groaned in pain
"What do you mean by you gave it to Karen? I have the scroll with me!" She said
"Then she has an empty scroll and they are after her. Beth, you have to find her before they do, please!" He begged.
