"Do you think Chief will listen to what we said?"
Jody and Zev were on the side of the road, looking at John's car, which was already far away. Zev inhaled deeply.
Zev said, "I don't think the chief will do anything bad to you."
"But he wants to know a lot. Do you think him not knowing his question's answer will satisfy him?" Jody asked.
Zev smiled as he looked at Jody. "Love, Chief John is a parent who treats you like a real daughter. Just like Dad, right? So, before making a choice, they think about how it will affect their children. And if you have questions, you'll make me worry because I know you won't stop until you find the answers."
Jody frowned. "Let's put our faith in the leader."
Jody inhaled deeply. "Haist, you can't always trust adults."
Zev chuckled.

Zev told Loel, "Come with me to town."
"Alright. Just shower me." Loel said something and then dashed into the house.
