I quickly ran down stairs, catching my father in front. Guards pushed me back up, tears rolling down my face.
They slammed the room door and I dropped tears on my windowsill. What is going on with Daddy? Is there something I don't know about?
Then, I see an entrance inside the chamber where Lara is. I quietly opened the window.
The sun bristled on my cheeks, the wind on my scalp. But it's not time for this, I need to save my best friend...
....
I run over to one of the guards with the keys and knock him out with a sword. I take the keys and the sword, knocking every guard by the entrance.
I looked left and right and quickly unlocked the door. The punisher looked at me and gasped. He got on his knees.
"Let Lara free, this instant." I ordered. The punisher unlocked Lara's cuffs and foot cuffs. I hugged her tightly!
"I should probably hide you in my room, in my secret area." I whispered. Lara nodded.
We ran back into my room and I showed her my secret area. The door quickly opened and I quickly turned around.
"I swear, Lara's in here!" The punisher ran in with Daddy and guards by his side.
Daddy stares at me. "I swear if this has something to do with what I did-"
I ignored him and combed my hair. He grabs my shoulder and turns me around. His eyes are fiery, but mine were winning.
I crossed my arms and took his hand off me. "Leave." I say and turn around. Daddy went and stared back at me in sorrow.
Lara's head pops out of my secret door and says, "Can I live here??"
I laugh and nod.
I hear Daddy yelling. I go downstairs with no hesitation and sit onto my throne. "Leave us." I saDaddy was confused about what I was doing.
My eyes were closed, face front as I asked, "What do I not know?"
He was confused. "I don't understand."
"You know what I'm talking about, Daddy." I say. "You got mad at Lara just for not preparing the guns. You let guards handle that. You don't let me go outside-"
"Kisha, you just don't understand-"
"What DON'T I UNDERSTAND?! THE FACT THAT YOU ARE UNFAIR AND SELFISH?!"
My father looked down. Lara came downstairs, and gasped. Daddy let her come in. She sat down on the floor.
"Look, you're just like my wife, my wife died because of her sake. Outside is the enemy. Enemy is betrayal. Outsiders are a betrayal." my father gives me a look.
A tear came from my cheek. Daddy lifted my chin, and smiled weakly. Lara stepped up and asked to sit between us. I nodded.
"Lara, it is time to go back home." My father said. "Oh, and here's 500 dollars Kisha forgot to give you." My father looked at me.
Me and Lara looked at each other. "Don't worry, Kisha's been doing what I was supposed to do. Give you a raise."
Lara stood up from her chair and went along the path to the village.
"Now about that stunt that you did to get Lara back, that was pretty impressive." My father looked at me and smiled.
He stood up and said, "Sleep till 7:00, you're going outside to train." My eyes widened and I smiled.
