The Teacher Of Red Gem, The Master of Swords, Lue Chang, gave me gear to wear. We were outside, finally.
I figured what Daddy said about training was a truthful lie, but here we are. Mr. Chang was strict and punctual. He was never late! I wish he was, so I could get to my studies faster.
I put on my helmet and shoulder pad and slashed a watermelon. As I walked to the next challenge, I took a piece of watermelon and shoved it in my mouth. I shook my hand so the juice would come off.
I overheard Mr. Chang and Daddy talking and chuckling about Daddy's airplane ride around the world. Oh, the part where he get thrown off a horse, into mud, into the fence, it gets me every time!
I walked up to Mr. Chang and shouted, "I'm ready for the next challenge, sir!" Mr. Chang smirked and put on a helmet and some shoulder pads. I gulped.
"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you."
I sighed. We switched out the swords, into bamboo sticks.
3....2.....1.. GO!
Mr. Chang did a leg sweep, causing me to jump. I poked him in his stomach, pushing him. He fell, wiped his lips, and smirked.
He quickly got up and strikes. I dodged and slid down and grabbed his legs. I poked his knees with the stick, causing his reflexes turn on.
YesHe tumbled and I walked and pointed the stick in his face. "Any last words?"
"Yeah." He said. He sweeps my legs, with me falling on my face. "Never mess with the master."
"Ow!" I yelled in pain. My eye was scratched. I held my hand on it and quickly went to my room.
I took out my kit, and put a bandage on it. Someone knocked on my door. It was Lara! I ran quickly and hugged her.
"What's up with the bandage?" Lara asked.
"Training accident. Nothing really." Lara mouthed 'Oh.'
I sat on my bed and pulled Lara down, which bumped her head. She winced.
"So, how was it outside?" Lara asked. I smiled and handed her a leaf I had picked up during training. "This one is beautiful, so I was going to put it in a box, and make a necklace." Lara smiled and said, "I'm glad you enjoy the outdoors." We both heard a siren in the middle of the conversation.
Three of the guards came rushing in my room, one carried me to the underground house and one carried Lara there too. "WHATS HAPPENING?!" I shout. "It's lockdown, the Blue Gem of Lintent is here breaking down the wall, so you will have to stay down here ma'am."
Me and Lara hugged tightly, but I quickly got up pacing for it to end. Lara stopped me and smiled at my face and wiped my tear. I felt so much sadness through the evasion, I was scared, scared than I used to. I felt.. angry. I looked in Lara's face and said, "You up for something?" Lara shook her head yes. "What if we help father, I had training today."
Lara was shook. She was mostly looking at me in confusion. She shook me and said, "Yeah, for a day Kisha! Are you out of your mind?" I shook my head yes.
I stomped to one of the guards and snatched a sword from his belt and ran upstairs to the castle as the guards were chasing me. Lara had thought about it, and started running without thinking.
