The elevator made a ding sound and I came out walking like a zombie, the only thing keeping me moving is my legs and maybe some part of my brain still functioning, the other part replaying Hayden's every word like some haunting documentary.
'Death greets you... you're going to die, Emma'
'I saw you, Emma… I felt you, I don't know what was happening exactly'
'I felt you, I felt you... cold,'

The low sound of a horn snapped me out of my mini trance and I jolted finding myself already on the busy road. When did I get out of the hotel? I don't even remember leaving Hayden's room.
"T-Taxi!" I called with barely a loud sound but thanks to my hand out I was able to signal one. I got in and shut the door and the driver asked me where to but I was lost in my head again, I was suddenly cold, it was too cold.
