It was all darkness… wasn't that supposed to be what one sees when unconscious? But I see it all… I sense it... almost like there was a third eye somewhere and I was clearly alive to everything around me. My body, even though unmoving, could feel every single thing... the sound of the wind, I could hear it whistle in my ears, making those blowing noises. I could sense the rise and fall of the sun each passing day, and feel the cold too... It was getting colder every day and the snow was already sticking to the ground.
The presence of everyone who came into my room, leaving and staying, the smell of them too. I could hear Vanessa's voice too, how she speaks to me, the pain, the sadness that clouded her voice and words, she would hold my hand and speak to me, in her assumption I couldn't hear her but I did. I could feel the struggle she went through of how she couldn't bring herself to tell my mom about my condition until she finally did.
