Emilia rose an eyebrow at me before poking her fork into the pineapple cube.
"Are you seriously keeping track of time?" She said before huffing. "Relax she just needs some time with her aunt, respect that"
I shifted my gaze away from her, yes she was right, Emma needed some time with her aunt, but I couldn't stop my body from itching, just being apart from her didn't sit well with me, fuck I felt like something was clawing at my skin. I constricted my hand on the armchair, just how further will they talk? I ran my hand through my hair, thinking about how badly I wanted to walk to that room, but I kept myself pinned to the chair.
"A Royal is after her, Dad's not gonna let her out of his sight"
Her words broke me out of my thoughts, I was expecting her to mention that sooner or later.
