Daniel found it hard to belive. But the man looked like he was relying on him for his life. Relying on Daniel to belive him.
"Why then didn't you press the brake?"
The man rubs his face in a frustrated manner and released a deep sigh. "I did. I swear I did. But it wouldn't work."
"Mr…" he looked to his colleague for help on the name.
"Grandor."
"Mr Grandor, if I am to belive your story and help you, then you have to not lie to me. You didnt check the bus before taking it out on the road did you?"
He glared at Daniel and grabbed him by the collar. William Dion who was his colleague wanted to help but Daniel raised his hand to stop him. He stared ino the mans eyes and tried to read his thoughts. The man looked sincere. But years of being a policeman had taught him to not belive in anything or trust anyone unless he made sure of it himself.
