A very cheerful day to start the daily routine. The words were directed specifically to others but not to Annabella. When she wanted to go out to work, Andrew Cranel's face was already on display in front of her door.
He's here again! She thought Andrew had left.
"Good morning!" greeted Andrew with a cheerful face.
Annabella didn't reply to the greeting. She slipped on her stockings, and shoes and headed off to work as the house and cafe were only a 15-minute walk away.
"Annabella, you can't see me now? Or are you making me invisible?" questioned Andrew. He followed Annabella from behind.
Just be patient. A psycho, if served, becomes more and more vicious.
Annabella enters the Story Cafe. She headed to the changing room to change her clothes. Annabella came out wearing her work clothes. The clothes she was wearing earlier were placed in a locker. The locker door was locked.
She turned her head to the left and found Andrew leaning against the next locker.
"What do you want from me?" asked Annabella. She relaxed at the strange man's presence.
"I want to ensure your safety."
"Than what? A werewolf? Oh, a vampire this time?" asked Annabella in a sarcastic tone.
"Rather than a Demon. A very gruesome creature. You may be attacked once again by Demons because you can see them."
"I don't believe that freaking Demon you said. So, please don't disturb me!" Annabella was angry.
"Hey, Anna! Who are you talking to?" snapped Samantha. She had just walked into the worker's room. Her forehead wrinkled when she heard the girl talking to herself.
"With this guy. Can't you see? The man in the strange clothes standing here." Annabella referred to Andrew.
"Which strange man? I only see you. Are you unwell?" Samantha touched Annabella's forehead.
Annabella was dumbfounded. She glanced at Andrew who was in front of her eyes. There was no way she had a sixth sense. Maybe Andrew was a ghost? She looked at Samantha through Andrew's body as if there was nothing there. Her eyes widen even more.
"You are the only one who can see me and hear my voice." Andrew raised his voice to explain what was happening.
Oh, no!
She didn't want any supernatural powers that could see spirits! She couldn't imagine that her life would be haunted by creepy, stupid ghosts.
But... The ghost in front of her eyes is quite pleasant to the eyes.
"Who were you talking to earlier?" asked Samantha. She had finished changing her work clothes.
"Err... Got pranked. Since this morning, I've been getting calls from people I don't recognize. Often, too." She didn't want to be called crazy by her co-workers.
"If you get that kind of call again, don't answer it. It's dangerous! I read this blog. If you answer an anonymous call more than ten times, you will die. Scary!"
Really? Whatever blog Samantha was reading. It's ridiculous.

The work done today felt all out of place. This was due to the presence of Andrew who was occupied with observing her actions. All the workers there including the customers did not notice Andrew's presence. Annabella was the only one who saw the man.
"Listen here, Mr. Andrew." Annabella started speaking when the man followed her into the workers' rest area
"Yes, I am!"
"I know how lonely you feel because I've been there. However, you need to leave this mortal world. This world is not your place and it's not right for you. I know it's hard to leave the world because there are too many memories."
"Wait, wait... What are you talking about?" asked Andrew.
"I know you are an insecure ghost. Maybe before you died, you dreamed of becoming an actor, which is why you appeared as the most good-looking ghost compared to the other ghosts."
"Ghost?"
"Yes, a ghost. But I can't help you become the movie star you dreamed of before you died. Like seriously? Any ghost can't be a famous actor."
"Annabella, let me explain again. First, I'm not a ghost. Second, I'm from Sylvania. Third, I don't understand what you're talking about."
Annabella sighed. It was really difficult to understand this man. "If you're not a ghost, why can't others see you?"
"They can't see Lvanian."
"What?"
"Lvanians, the people of Sylvania."
"After all, how can I see you?"
"I think there's something wrong with you. I'm still looking for the reason you can see me."
Annabella walked out of the rest area. The longer she thought about this, the crazier she became. She resumed working as usual.
It was ten o'clock in the evening before Annabella returned home. Today she was forced to work late into the night to cover for Burn who was absent due to a test.
She always walked alone when returning home at night but not this time. She was accompanied by Andrew with his beautiful shiny sword tucked into his waist.
"Are you really from Sylvania?" asked Annabella.
"Yes, Annabella. I have told you so many times. But you don't believe me."
"How can I believe it? Everything doesn't make sense. Where are the magic, giants, and Demons that you talk about? If it's in a movie it can be per..."
Annabella stopped what she was doing. Her words died there. A cool breeze suddenly brushed her face. Even though there had been no wind. She had an ominous kind of feeling. A sense that something bad was about to happen. The goosebumps were already creeping up on her skin.
"Why Annabella?"
"Something's not right."
"What?"
"This chilly feeling. Just like the day I was attacked by the werewolf."
Andrew kept his sword out of the sheath. He was already prepared to defend the young girl if they were attacked surprisingly.
"Can you feel the Demonic Spirit?"
"I don't know..."
The bush in the playground adjacent to them wriggled.
"Stand behind me."
Not long after, a rabbit came out of the bush. They breathed a sigh of relief when nothing happened.
"But... Since when the rabbit was here?"
Then, two more rabbits came out. The eyes of the three rabbits suddenly glinted black. The rabbit's teeth enlarged to form long, sharp fangs. The bodies of the rabbits enlarged into black shaggy creatures. Their ears also turned into sharp horns.
"It's like a Transformer but different," Annabella muttered.
Feelings of surprise and awe merged into one. The cute rabbit had turned into the hideous creature she had ever seen.
"Should we run now?"
"A brave knight never turns his back to enemies. But, for you... We should..."
"Run?" continued Annabella.
Andrew looks away avoiding his eye contact with Annabella. The girl sighed in disbelief. They run for their lives but were chased after by the creature.
"A brave knight, huh?"
"This is a great strategy that every knight uses. Hurry up! Go through the passage!"
They continued to run through a small hallway that was only lit by a single fluorescent lamp that had faded its light. The small alley is connected to an area far from the residential area. The work of tearing down the old buildings was still going on.
"Great! We're trapped."
"A suitable place to fight."
"What?"
Andrew chuckled.
"I already said. Sylvania's knights never run from an enemy. If I fight in the playground, the place will be destroyed."
"So, what now?" asked Annabella.
She looked at the Transformer-Rabbit that did not look like a rabbit before her eyes.
"The animal is affected by Demonic Spirit. When an animal is affected by Demonic Spirit it will turn into a Demon. It's not strong but if there are many of them, it's quite difficult to defeat. Not to forget this type of Demon is very aggressive. It's based on what animal is affected by Demonic Spirit."
From now on, I hate rabbit, Annabella muttered to herself.
