Chereads / Sylvania: Annabella Valiant / Chapter 7 - Annabella In Danger

Chapter 7 - Annabella In Danger

HALF an hour before this, Annabella felt regret because she didn't buy any popcorn. Eating popcorn while watching Andrew fight with the rabbit who became the gruesome creature better known as Demon, was like in the set of the most epic fantasy movie production.

After half an hour passed, Annabella became the victim of an attack by the monster. Luckily, there was Andrew who protected her with a sword that looked powerful and the blue aura that covered the man. Once again a very solid CGI!

"Do you know how to wield a sword?" asked Andrew, who was struggling to fend off the attack of the were-rabbit.

"Huh?"

"Answer my question!"

"I..."

"Slow!" snapped Andrew.

He halted to catch his breath. The sword he held was traced on the ground. The blue aura that surrounded the man grew larger like a fire that was soaring high.

"I open The Gate of Weapon War Realm! Give me the lightest sword to eliminate the Demon!" Andrew exclaimed.

Not long after, a large, blue light appeared in the sky. Something fell from the sky. It slowly shrank and closed. Andrew caught the falling object with one hand without moving an inch. The sword was pulled out from the ground.

Annabella was already gaping at the magic that Andrew had done before her eyes. Things that were impossible for logic to comprehend were happening before her eyes. What was it?

"Catch!" Andrew threw the sword that fell from the sky at Annabella.

Annabella hesitantly wanted to catch it. Afraid of being cut into half by the sword thrown by Andrew earlier. The sword fell to the ground. She ran to pick up the weapon. The hilt of the sword was held. She tried to draw the sword but...

"Erghhh..." Annabella struggled to lift the sword but was in vain. Heavy like an elephant!

"What are you doing, Annabella?" shouted Andrew. He was trying to fight the three monsters.

"This sword is heavy! It's like lifting an elephant you know? Erghh!" screamed Annabella.

"I forgot you were only human. But I have called for the lightest sword. Think that sword is light. You must be able to lift it."

"How. I. Can. Think. This. Sword. Is. Light? Arghh!"

Annabella slumped to the ground. Tired of fighting with the sword lying on the ground. It was a waste of energy trying to lift the sword.

"Annabella, be careful!" yelled Andrew.

When one of the Demons slipped out of his sight he rushed to attack Annabella.

In the blink of an eye, Annabella was already lying on the ground with severe injuries from being hit by the sharp fingernails of the creature. The clothes on her stomach were ripped apart by the creature's claws.

"Annabella!" screamed Andrew when he saw the girl lying weakly on the ground.

Anger overwhelmed him. Without thinking, he continued to attack one of the creatures. He jumped onto the creature's body and split the creature into two.

Annabella grimaced because pain spread out throughout her body. Her vision was already blurred as she could not bear the mounting pain. She could see the creature that attacked her earlier approaching her.

Father...

Before she closed her eyes, a figure appeared before her eyes. It was dark.

"You belong to me now!"

Andrew, who was desperately fighting another one of the creatures, turned his head.

"Erena? What are you doing here?"

"Busy!" The woman replied with a single word.

"How you can not fight this kind of Demon?"

"It's strong beyond my expectation!"

"Tch!"

Not long after, the two of them were able to defeat the creature. Andrew kept his sword in the scabbard at his waist.

"Why are you here?"

"Looking for you. Who else?"

"Huh? Me? Why?" asked Andrew.

"The Council thought you died while on a mission to eliminate the Demon that escaped from Sylvania. I wonder if you're struggling here on Earth."

"How could I die? I'm an Elite Knight of Sylvania," Andrew said proudly.

"What about this poor girl?"

Andrew tapped his forehead. He had almost forgotten about Annabella for a moment. His feet stepped closer to her who was lying on the ground unconscious. The young girl's pulse was checked. It was still beating but weak.

"We must take her to the House of Healing!"

"Andrew Cranel! If you take that girl to the House of Healing in Sylvania, she won't survive. A mere mortal like her cannot last for long in Sylvania. The energy in Sylvania is too intense. Her body can't withstand it. You know that too."

"I need to save her, Erena. This girl is in danger. The Sapphire Chain can protect her to overcome the power pressure in Sylvania."

"What about The Council? If The Council finds out about her, this girl will die even if she uses the Sapphire Chain."

"I'm ready to accept the risk and I will protect her no matter what happens."

"You're a fool," Erena muttered.

"She can feel Demonic Spirit."

"What?"

"She can see us. She can sense Demonic spirits. There's something off about her."

A dazzling glowing blue chain was taken out of a pocket. He put the chain around Annabella's neck.

"How can she see us and feel the Demon's presence?"

"I don't know."

Annabella's unconscious body was lifted.

A light appeared before them. They approached the light.

They disappeared into thin air to be transported to another world called Sylvania.
